Afternoon all. :D
Late start because of a heavy night last night.
My head was banging a bit this morning.
Zoom call at 10:00 for an hour, then I made our cooked brekker.
Now all fed & watered. :)
Got to go and get some wood in for tonight's fire, but otherwise a free afternoon.
Herself is unwell with a touch of Cystitis so I may have to run her to the chemists this PM.
No fun getting old.

Ochone! Ochone! The end of the world is nigh!

But can anyone explain WHY tesco are so set on this? Are the islanders suddenly going to spend thousands of pounds more than their usual weekly spend? Other than increasing the wage bill, I see no benefit....for anyone.

It'll upset the mainland workers if the 'Contract' isn't the same all over Britainshire...

I don't think that partickler malady is much to do with old age. ;)

I really am thinking now that the problem is the pump, hopefully just a sticky impellor, I "sticked" it this arternoon and it was going "whst, whst, whst" instead of "weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee". So far too slow a speed. Also when I bled it it was the only place where blackish watter came out.
I am switching it all off tonight so that in the morn it'll be cold and I'll be able to take it to a point where I can possibly shift the impellor around or strip it down further. Don't fink they are that much money unless you can still get cartridges for them.
Would an uprated pump for my 15-50 be a 15-60?
Asking for a dumbo!:):):)

As you have a Grundfos pump if you get another Grundfos you can turn it of at the pump valves and undo the four allen bolts and just remove the head and swap it out the new one will be flow sensing A rate but will wire up the same.
a 15-60 is same size just more omph

You learn something new every day is there any gasket involved?

Have you a 300tdi bumper with the reflectors by the rear door?
Yes but it is attached to my Disco 1 300tdi!
I was talking about fitting something to my Disco 2 TD5.

Sounds like a good plan. I have no idea really how "flow sensing A rate" would work out but I am sure you are telling me it'll be OK. Can I just get a core/cartridge type thing or do I need to buy a whole pump and just take the head out?
Thanks very much yet again for the valuable advice.

Look good set in the bumper an brighter than reverse lamp
That is exactly what I was thinking of doing. I seem to so often to be in dark places turning around and having to reverse towards "stuff"!
Just wondering if there were any legalities I'd have to think about.
How many of us can remember when old style Mini Coopers (and lookalikes) used to have reversing lights bolted onto the bootlids, which basically were spotlights?
