Eye is lookering at wardrobes. Wot does yer fink of this one? Should eye put blocks of pine wood between the side legs to spread the weight on the floor?

Cannot believe that price.
We have tried to sell pine furniture through the auction house we use all the time, a lot of the time they won't even take it on because pine is so unpopular, maybe just round our area, bedroom suites do sell, but for much less. So maybe you could look online for past auctions local to you, you might be surprised.
For instance this one didn't even reach estimate.
Pine bedroom suite with a wardrobe just like the one you are looking at.

Many auction houses do delivery.

And no, it isn't really delivery problems cos other furniture that size does sell, but ornery pine, even oiled etc doesn't sell well, as doesn't other brown furniture, but some types and good makes like Ercol do sell. Teak is popular, but if you own your own place lots of people have built in wardrobes etc.
Other materials are popular now.

To find local auction houses just Google "Auction rooms near me" and you'll see what there is. "Easy live auctions " will show you catalogues of upcoming ones and you can do everything from there. You don't even have to go and look at the lots and it is amazing how many punters do everything over the internet. Auctioneers will normally have people who will answer questions about lots over the phone. We just stick to the place we know, go and view on a Friday evening, place commission bids and watch the auction live, if we can be bothered on the Saturday. We then go and pick the stuff up the following week. Or if it is small stuff, like jewellery that W has bought while we are abroad, they keep it for her in the safe.

And here is how auction houses get bulky items to you, or you can get them picked up and delivered.

Two very nice old Royal Enfield bikes in this auction, i.e. viewing today for auction tomoz.
They may have been restored, or at least a bit.

Reminds me of the bikes I used to work on with my mate. He was into them and his mother, although a nurse, would allow him to get them. My ma, the doc would never allow me to.

If I had a licence and the time I would seriously like to get one of these, or similar.
(My dad worked for Royal Enfield for a little while. I had a poster of a RE Interceptor on my wall for ages.
"The Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 is a parallel twin retro-styled motorcycle introduced by Royal Enfield in 2018. It is the first modern twin cylinder motorcycle developed by the company.

In 2017 it was revealed, inspired by the 1960s Interceptor which had a 750cc engine. " The 1960s one was obviously the one on my poster. wonder what happened to it? The poster I mean!)
