I wondered what classics might have been discussed with those peeps when you first mentioned them.

Renault 17 is a rare beast these days - the last time I saw one was when driving through France in 2010 (it could have been a 15, never sure if seeing them fleetingly). Can't remember where I was at the time but it might have been in the Lyon area.
The difference is most obvious around the rear side window area.
Major disappointment with it was that although a hatchback the rear seats couldn't be folded flat.

Mine was the same colour as this one.
First car that did a real 100 mph that I ever owned and the pillarless design with the windows down was sooooo sexy!
Loved it. Had to be scrapped after a learner driver out with his mates decided to change a cassette rather than stop at the back of a line of cars. Mine was at the front. :mad: :mad: :(:(

I did see an old man at the wildlife park where I go in a lovely Freelander before he parked. Hit one of the posts as he pulled in and reversed back into a wooden post. As he tried to leave the space the bumper came off. I did want to help but didn't want to run the risk of being told to go away.

In the process of being scammed, yet again, by an online shop.
Ordered two containers of powerful drain cleaner 25th of Jume, still not arrived, as told to expect them after the 5th of July, still not there. Trying to cancel them.

Total pain in the rear.:mad::mad::mad:
At least I'll "only" lose €30 this time.

That's not good. Did you use debit or credit card?
