Amazingly not that expensive.
Ere Stan, send me a linky for that contraption willya? Herself has expressed an innerest an we have three days left down ere. Might be fun..Well, it stopped raining so, as both cars were off the drive decided to give my new metal detector an outing.
Pleased to say that it does work on the gravel drive.
In no time at all I had found a screw and a piece of flattened copper pipe about 10mm x 15mm. Then eventually came a piece of rusty steel about twice as big in surface area, (very thin), another screw and a nail.
No lockable wheel nut socket and no chain to go with one of my axle stands together with its pin clip thing. Which I was hoping to find, but i know where the screws come from, the rear light clusters on the Disco! I will be sorting out the tools etc in the back of the Disco so hoping still to find missing stuff.
The tyre place found 3 out of the 8 missing wheel nut covers, hmm! And I had left it 2.5 degs out on the tracking when fitting the new track rod, so £35 later it is straight. (Always seems a lot of dosh for that.)
Enjoy the rest of the day peeps!
Linky didn't work, got it from Amazon, it's called a Voilamart Metal Detector, it's waterproof to a certain extent. It takes 2 x 9 volt batts which don't come with it.Ere Stan, send me a linky for that contraption willya? Herself has expressed an innerest an we have three days left down ere. Might be fun..
Cheers

Well it is still up!!Have just put up the pic of Kate with her supposed "work" up on Nextdoor!
Counting down now to how long it'll be before it is deleted, I am banned or both!
Just removed it as one wimmins decided to let drop what she thinks Kate had in the hospicle.Well it is still up!!
Lots of people think it's funny, some wanted to go on about the monarchy and politics.
and inevitably I got told off.
Surprised really!
I got chucked out of Mumsnet, surprisingly Nextdoor seem to be made of less fussy stuff!
