TBH my school was in quite a posh area, but yes obvs there were some that were a bit unloved and came from dodgy backgrounds. So peer group pressure meant very few were pongy.;)

We always had stocks of "lost and found" uniform and they were given stuff from there. Meanwhile we had a bank of washing machines in the Home Ec dept that got used to wash them, so they could go back with their own, cleaned up. ;)
 
My passenger door latch has been sticking in the locked position again lately, and it's not been possible to lubricate my way out of the problem. Accordingly, I ordered a new mechanism and it came today. Door trim off, and it'll go in in a matter of minutes I thought. No such luck. I discovered I'd have to take the window winder mechanism out, and probably should have taken the window out too, but in the event I held it up with one hand while I bent the runner out of the way and got the latch mechanism swapped over. So far so good - the new one seems to be working, locking and unlocking freely.

Busy wee day today the JCB duck had a hydraulic leak & a wee oil leak yer the oil filter was loose :oops:
The other was a bust O ring n no-one likes that.... well maybe kurt 🤣🤣
Window fixed too 400 squids for it. :confused: Got another motor sailor boat to scrap I dont want it ive already got 2 free boats this week. 🤣🤣

Oh n got offered to be joint yard manager.
