Eye has been using up me sossij by cookering two at a time int microwave. Dun't have them often as they is high in fat compared to other foods. Eye will buy the betterer sossij next time to compare. Surprised me at how much fat comes oot of them. If that were a casserole it would be floating int casserole liquid. Eye cooked the sossij in a microwave meal dish. Yer gerra spoonful of fat from two sossif. Goes semi hard like lard when it cools down. Dun't want that floating in me blood. Tiped it into me fat collecting bottle.

When the misses makes steak pie wiv sausages the meat is cooked separate from em, sausages r boiled n de skinned
meat cooked in her own recipe gravy. Sausages added then cooked to soak up some gravy then cooled, then the hard
fat removed. Re-heated in the oven n pastry on top. Oh yer

Yes. Eye has a lean mean grilling fing and yer get loads of luquid run oft but eye put that in a bottle so dun't notice it turn to lard.

Had to scrape ice off the car t'day ... Dad was fine got him up and dressed ready for todays excursion to deepest Herts ...
Well, St. Albans anyway ... Number Two son's birthday lunch ... and we're ALL going, no grumpy hold-outs from Number One son and the Granddaughter may even choose to wear a good mood ...
Have yourselves a really great day ...

Another weekend has flown by.
Hadn't set foot outside since Thursday, until it was time for the daily commute this morning.
Back to Blighty on Friday. Hopefully, that will put a spring back in my step.
