Well no O level equivalents there then! But all a grade except for the U of course!!! I bet they ended up earning more than I did!

Not knowing what 'Roche' was in my french O was admissible to my mind, we wasn't posh enough for Fererros.. Got a B though.
I had been learning a little Swedish, especially the colloquialisms.
'To have a crap in the blue cupboard' frinstance. Lovely peeps the Swedes, though the ones we had took manana to the next level.

In my day they were numbered from 1-9, 1-6 was a pass, I think I got a 3 in my French O level. So much the same as a B!
So you could have become a French teacher too!
(I never took an A level in it.)

One of my last pair had exactly that same experience and as it was so unusual I took her to the vet - she was diagnosed with diabetes. I then had to give her a daily insulin injection which she really looked forward to because she got her dinner straight after it!!Recently got back in from a lovely day in Bath, nice dins at Cote followed by a play "A voyage round my father". Very funny and that.
Got home to find for the first time ever a dog had wet the sofa, right through the cover, so two cushion covers will have to go to the cleaners!
(We'll have to rememember to shut the lounge door in future.)
But hardly on the level of the flooding that others are suffering at the moment.

Our three have been constantly to the vets this year and one of them had a full bank of blood tests.
I think it is just that we left them alone for a long time.
We have no idea which one did it. But thanks for the heads-up. We'll bear it in mind.

This'll make you laugh.
I am currently treating all three dogs for various little things, ears, eyes, and a small sore. So I keep all their treatment stuff in a bag. And to encourage them I always give them a small treat/biscuit afterwards.
this bag was on the floor, also in the lounge.
With a brand new, just opened, 500 gm bag of the treats in it next to the ointments, gels, and other potions.
Guess how many were left??
No wonder they didn't seem so keen to finish their dinners as they usually are!

Went out into the garden to see a grey squirrel hiding winter food, a Robin in the planting by the bird feeder and a pigeon on the bird table. So all is well with the world.
