Decorating done apart from hand rails and spindles just re-hanging paintings and pictures and a bit of framing and new acquisitions a little tip don't use opend or old saddalins wood Finnish I did and it took 7 days to dry Wtf never again

Well thats us just back from MOTs 2 cars today, both passed 1 was flying colours the other I needed to explain to the tester why the handbrake wasnt working
Of course this was when he told me it didnt work at all. No you dont test it like that says I
Anyway told him to put the brake on and try and drive off. He promptly stalled it twice, so that got the flying colours.
So no we don't have to do anything exceptargue decide what's for tea

Got a safety recall from Landrover for my defender. Front axle case flange reinforcement brackets to be installed.
Got it booked in on 4th October atmy local Landy garage in Hillingdon. 2 hour job they say so will browse the new defenders while I wait

Bought some supermarket branded cheddar cheese.. looks, smells and tastes more like a Lancashire cheese

Happy lunchtime all!
Just back from first part of the end of season shop. The butcher grumbled a tiny bit cos W wanted such a shipping order. In the end he did part of it and we'll be picking up the rest tomorrow.
Got a load of Christmas presents cos there is a cheap shop 'ere wot does household stuff of fair quality. So many of the grand chilluns are setting up home.
W picked up the leather coat what she had made for her, but the pooter repair man wasn't in so I am still sans charger.
. He tried to talk to me via his ring doorbell thing I could sort of hear him but he couldn't hear me! He told me he'd left an ansaphone message,which he had, but that wasn't clear either! So I think I'll be getting it much later on today. 
Poor old doggy banging around in a cone collar yet again after they removed her ganglion yessdi. It looked weird, so they said so they sent it off for testing. They couldn't find anything else so, big bill again and wait and see.
Bad weather predicted on just the day we are supposed to be sailing so that could be a problem too what with the final vet check and everyhing.
Still at least we finally found the hen man in, big relief, he's taking them. He had 8 killed recently the one night he forgot to lock his in at night so he is even more grateful than usual. He is fitting an automatic closing door not cheap but.....
Weather warm, dry but sun intermittent.
