Very dark but it isn't raining. Yesterday turned out to be a lovely sunny day so I am hoping for the same today.
My repeat prescription email request keeps on being returned as 'undeliverable' so I am going to have to make a separate journey to hand it in to the surgery - giving them the required 48 hrs notification before collecting it on Wednesday/Thursday - something I could do without having to do at this time.
Must remember to put the bins out during daylight hours as it is a pain to do in the dark even with a torch.
Still no news on the overlocker.

@My Old Landy well it finally happened mate - reversing off the drive last night on way to vaccination centre and smashed into a Mondeo that was parked across my gate. Not a scratch on that yet I have a big dent in the tailgate. It was pitch black, I’m over it as the neighbours wife died Saturday, so beside knocking to say “hey, I’ve just rammed your car” this one’s on me…cheers

Morning all tisnt raining, late shopping trip yesterday for food & noo puppy stuff.
Shops were empty

& yet everyone said they were mental busy during the week
everyone must have done there shopping then.

Morning All

Damp but not raining here.

Papers collected, wifes car's moved to a neighbours across the road as we have tree-fellers here today & tomorrow.
£1200 to have 1 tree completely down and other severely trimmed.

Back Crackers @ 10:30 for me today.

That's difficult to comment on, damaging the car is not good. Sad that someone died so near to Christmas but probably gives relief to the family.

Fink I might check the oil n tyres on the Disco afore going to Cornywall.

...what's all this cobblers about having a "test" before you go out to the shops on all the front pages today?

Will it be stay indoors if you haven't had a test in the past 10 minutes next?
Omicron might be super contagious but it's not super-deadly, most folk will just have cold-like symptoms.
Talk about over-reacting. Let's all start wearing masks indoors in our own homes just-in-case eh?

Stoking the fear once more. Well done UK Govt.
