Some chap had not taken heed to the age old rule of "don't drink and prime" I delivered 12 parcels to one address.

Mind you if people didn't buy stuff they don't need with money they don't have i'd be out of a job! ;) :D

Traffic was terrible too you wouldn't believe we are in a lockdown.. :confused:

Loads of lycra on the road, I do 'ave a new van 'anorl an Autotragic Mercedes thingy so I can just power past them using diesel powah!!! ;)

But explains the size of the hole. And makes me wonder if a FO could still have been the problem although the doc thinks it unlikely.
So up early tomoz as Wifey wants me out of here hair in time for her weekly Zoom with her sewing circle.:rolleyes:

Ahhhh... I have a mate that has travelled that path just like his Dad before him. In his particular case it is MS that has prompted a move out of his 2-storey house of 25 years in South-East London and into an affordable Bungle-hole down in Kent.
His agreement with his missus was that as soon as it began to take him significant time to traverse up/down the stairs it was time to move to single-level accommodation.
I once called to collect him to take him out for beers and he waved at me from an upstairs window and said "be right down"; 30 minutes later he opened the front door. :( Poor chap.
I wish you well, and as much delay in this "bungalow" eventuality/necessity as you need or require.

I'm far more worried about going into the hospital and having to wait there amongst others who may have the walruss, than anything else. I think If I had anything that serious, it would have shown up in the intervening 20 years. And I'm pretty sure I was tested for diabetes when I retired, altho I am aware I could maybe have developed it since.
Tis bloody painful tho and the podiatrist reckons it'll take 3 months to heal up.:(
Course Wifey is furious as this will have an effect on the finish date of the utility room. (Mutterings about "get a man in", etc. FFS):mad::mad::mad:
Will have to get one of those massive moon boot things, which might be fun. give me more of an excuse when I step on her toes!;)

saw some bloke using that "torch the wood" thing on "Money from nothing" It actooly looked quite good. :):):)

(Later on in the same prog another plonker managed to make an object that was positively dangerous involving no expensive materials and very little labour, he charged £600 I think to do bugre all and some other idiot paid £1000 for it.:(
But then tis par for the course in this prog.;)

They are very nice, I do like that style. The gates we just made are for the top of a private road
not the house drive way, his house gate is the five bar style like yours. :)

I must have missed your Q ?? We glued them in as there were gaps under them, (between the uprights).
We thought water would get trapped & may cause problems in years to come. They will be chiselled
flat (basically cut in half) level with the inner slats. If thats any clearer o_O ;)
The lower gate has been done already I will take a pic in the morning for you.
