Yesterday I cleaned up a batch of bricks recovered from the chimbley demo, ready for re-use in me hard landscaping project. But they is still too dark n stained from decades of smoke, so I have got to select some more and have another go terday.

Morning all 
Another "not-raining-yet" day.
It seems that I am not finished doing "good-deeds" this weekend.
Wife reports that her mother's washing line pole has rotted away and snapped off at the base and "MUST" be fixed.
The wife's brother it seems cannot possibly do this task for HIS mother, so someone else must step-in.
He is currently hiding safe & warm at his home behind a "Covid Lockdown" excuse the little git.

Fanks. They go ont the oat side as there int enough room for them in the doorway. Eye will put a slanted bit ov wud over the top to keep rain oft the top ov me doors. Puttin hingis ont this afternoon. Shud be ready ter ang next wikkend.@Hippo That looks like some fine wood butcherery

MIL's washing pole trimmed off (to remove the rotten bit) and refitted into a ground-spike instead of into the dirt.
Line fixing eye moved 2 foot further up the pole to compensate for the repositioning and the 1-foot cut off.
Job jobbed and wifey has stopped scowling at me.
