I was thinkin of an infra red sensor type thing you'd put in your shed as a quick fix.
I think IR doesn't pass through glass?

Get a Baby monitor. You hear the fookers in your landy/shed and can then walk down & have a chat without an alarm waking the neighbours

It will go through glass.
How did they get in? Yer need to park it where it can be seen. Behind a hedge int no good as neighbours can't see it. Only you can.

That's just it, is on the street, outside the house (a jealously guarded spot) in sight of everyone. No idea how they got in,but must be an easy Jimmy coz this is the second time since I got her. Silly council fuggers have turned out the street lights from two till four ayem so quiet cul de sacs are dark zones with little traffic.
I have protection as far as theft of the truck goes. Think I'll go with something cheap an noisy in the short term, I can take pot shots with me AEG out the window

Try it with yer tv remote. Depending how strong the signal is, some should get through.

Is there definitive sign someone got in it? Is it something simple like applying pressure to the door and it will open even if locked. It seems strange. Yer need an alarm which it triggered if the doors or bonnet open. Also volumn sensing inside if a window is broken. There are cheaper versions than what @Mackers has available which yer can fit yerself. Or go for the toad. His toad stopped his being tampered with.
