Has anyone in our happy band done the Land's End to John O'Groats trip in a Landy before?
The other half is not too keen lol  as 840 miles for the trip plus we have got to get to the start and back home makes it over 1700 miles probably in 10 days

Yep the mrs :). In the S1 but it’s 1500 miles 3 days on the endurance rally & your not using the motorways.
Me I’ve done it twice in the lorry. ;)

They are doing this again in the S1 December this year.
Very boring journey up the motorway until you get above Carlisle.

I have just shown your post to the other half, her face when she saw your Mrs did it in an S1 and in 3 days!!!
She will still need convincing our D90 will make it without falling apart

Pity your motor won’t fit in my lorry I would have dropped you off in December at John o groats. ;) You could then have drove back.
Biggest problem is speed. If you can sit over 56 you won’t get affected by lorries.
Do a few days on long hours/miles then you can admire the views up north slowly with lots of stops.

There are plenty of LZR up north to help.

Now try to convince the mrs.

A woman's intuition!:)

We lost the clutch on a 360 mile trip shortly after getting the Landy, since then we have made it back on every trip :)

We can sit at 60 and if I sort the steering we could go faster o_O it just gets a little hairy over 60 lol
She has not driven it and we have had it a year, once I can convince her to drive too, I think it will be on

There int nuffink there un when yer get to the next one there int nuffink there anorl.

Save yer self the pain. Split it inter 2 separate trips so yer still get ter see nuffink twice, but separated. That way it reduces the amount of travel time un yer can do more ollyday stuff.

Hire a freelander anorl. Gerrer auto gearbox foot hills.
