Accoding to t'news, they are about to open a new one somewhere, or start building it, or summat.

Need to research it a bit more.

We are lucky in that Bournemouth Water (as was, now bought up) keeps finding new ways to store water so we don't get hoespipe bans and are encouraged to use as much as we like, (to line their pockets of course, and incidentally Wessex who do our sewage.)
Public out cry will help. But water companies have know fer years how difficult it is to get planning permission to pass. Hence why their desire to build a new res, wurnt apempted. Its quite damaging to the environment assit wipes it all out when the line it and fillit.

That suggests they dunt fix any. They is always fixing them. Finding them is the difficult bit. Easy on the surface if water appears and someone reports it. More difficult if the leak stays under ground.
Peeps on my local "Nextdoor" are always reporting leaks and often nothing gets done at all. A lot of our area is not supplied by Bournemuff Water.

Mines easy to do. Call them or report it online. Gorra get the right company responsible for the location. There will be priority fer wot reports come in. Ours gives feedback if they find it or call to ask fer more info if they can't.

The big problem is the people accepting it. But they think It shounldnt be on thier doorstep.

We need more water, or you stop using it, if you have none that would change (your personal enviroment alot). But people will object to a resivour which brings in a whole new enviorment by itself. Which arent bad.

They object to wind/solar farms but also about Nucler, then complain about the cost of it 🤔.

I am not saying the farmland should be given over to solar, but there are other ways, which would stop the big companies from seeing it as an easy cash cow, and the farmers not having to battle againgst profit margins.

People need to think what it would be like to live without water out of their tap. or a light when they switch the switch for a few days.
Before they start complaining. But no thats not the modern way:rolleyes:.
