I visited your little island way back in 1960 but didn't see much of it as I was playing in an annual hockey festival. We stayed in one of those sea front hotels in Douglas and were picked up by bus every day and taken out to some park-like area just a few miles inland. Very enjoyable few days EXCEPT for the horrific sea journey back to Liverpool - it sure was rough in George's channel. Those were the days, young and free! Still got the photo!!

I am told it wasn't a bad place back in the 60's, glad you have fond memories of your trip over to our little Island (apart from the journey back obviously)
