I am delighted to say that the mini did pass.
I have some things to attend to, but nothing major.
All thems cash int hand jobs. They will catch up wiv yer. The reason why yer having problems loggin in is because they fink yer deadded. Thas wot appens when you ain't paid tax fer 20 years.I know someone who done it the other day so I will ask him in the morning. After breakfast rolls.![]()
Yer can't go wrong when buying a Freelander. Welcome to me Freelandering fred. There's one for sale at my local garage, they do vehicles up occasionally then sell them on. I can ask about it if it's not too far for you? Tbh I was thinking about having a look at it for myself![]()
I've recently adopted one of Xylia's cast off iPhones. She has to have the latest one, of course, and I get the old ones. I'm not a mobile phone person, but it's useful to stick in the Land Rover with a PAYG sim in it in case I need to get the AA out. This one has ambitions to be more, clearly. It displays rather stentorian messages saying 'TIME SENSITVE Phone left behind' and 'This iPhone is no longer detected near you'. It seems to think it belongs on my person at all times. How very presumptous. Why would I want to live under the perpetual gaze of Apple and Vodafone?
I remember many years ago there was a talking doll called 'Chatty Cathy' who produced various phrases when her string was pulled and allowed to rewind. One of these was 'Take me with you'. Coming from a doll, it was rather cute, and it was only clockwork anyway, and designed to entertain three year old girls. But with something as smart as an iPhone it all seems rather sinister.

Probably ran into the back end of an artic trailer. It's hit the wall, but something's dented the roof in and broken the windscreen
There's been a big accident in the street outside. Yes, I was one of those ghoulish people who went out and took a picture. But I did have a good check to make sure there was no one hurt first, so it wasn't in the poorest of taste.

It's hit the wall, but something's dented the roof in and broken the windscreen. There was another car standing in the road which was dented down one side, but it's hard to work out what's happened. Note the trousers worn with the waistband beneath the buttocks. That's still the height of fashion here. In the rest of the world everybody else pulled theirs up over a decade ago, including the gangsta rappers.
Despite its rather intrusive demands to be by my side, the iPhone is capable of taking very good pictures in the dark.
There was an accident here yesterday when a chap hit a deer with his motorbike.![]()
Was the deer ok
