those things should be banned as you can tweak them to do 40mph
Its a very sad event, but at the end of the day "private" E scooters are not legal. (news reports state that private bit)
Who brought it for him (i guess it was the lads scooter).

Not getting into it as I have views about this sort of stuff that should not be aired here.

A man n woman have been arrested for this.
Yes, for fleeing the scene. But what we don't know is what happened to cause a crash of such tragic consequences. Of course the kids won't have been on the road, would they? The car must have mounted the kerb and come across the pavement ...yes?
Funny how this has not been mentioned I think.

Can not comment on this untill the true facts emerge but I have my suspicions

When I was at skool we put our skool dinners left overs in a tub which was then put in bins which were collected by the pig farmer to feed his oinkers. We had to separate prune stones out before putting the rest in the tub, so the oinkers didn't break their teeth on them.
You should have seen the bloke who emptied the pig bins at Bath Uni!!!
He had the tallest gumboots I have ever seen!! REAL character.
Had a big blue Luton van or summat. Fink acsherly it must a bin bigga than that.
But then the pig bins were enormous too.
(I was working running the food and drink store for the place at the time. Loads of mouths to feed!)

Afternoon all. Poached egg n toast for lunch. :)
Yuk!
The white of an egg unless mixed with its yolk should be banned from the surface of the earth.
So weird that the yolk is yummy and omlits, scrambleds, even meringue are all lovely, but boiled, fried, coddled or poached white???
Super yuk!
So better you than me.

Nowt wrong wiv 'ot buttered toast mind!!

You were allowed to leave left-overs???
If we'd done that we'd have not have been allowed to leave the dining hall.
And every other Friday we wanted to, baked fish with cornflakes on top. Yuk!

My latest fad is scrambled eggs with a pinch of ground fennel. On hot buttered toast it is fandabadoozy. :D

So.

I am sure you enjoy escargo then?

Although i will admit to not wanting a runny white.
But have been known to get through a beef tata, in the right setting. (@kevstar loves it if I remember:p)

You must all be wondering a bit knowing that we have hens laying like mad very season in Frogland. But then eggs are something you can cook individually, so we do. W loves fried and poached, but not so much boiled weirdly.
And of course there are loads of other ways in which we use them in cooking. ;)

@Stanleysteamer Why the sad emoji?

Thought you were clever...

Escargots, like many things, are overrated.
Snails in parsley and garlic butter grilled in their shells are fine, cos all you taste is the garlic, parsley and butter. so I have them from time to time.
But the very first holiday W and I had in Frogland we ate in some very posh places. At one I ordered a kind of snail stew.
It looked lovely, it smelt lovely and the sauce bit was lovely. but the snails? Yuk. Gamey as heck!

Love the famous Scottish national dish though!!

Then spell Kranky correctly and I'll put a smiley emoji up!!!
"Cranky" has quite a different meaning.
"Definitions of cranky. adjective. easily irritated or annoyed. synonyms: fractious, irritable, nettlesome, peckish, peevish, pettish, petulant, scratchy, snarky, techy, testy, tetchy. ill-natured."

so you see what I mean?!🤣🤣🤣
