Both vehicles loaded up, almost.
Pluriel on the trailer.
Can't believe we managed to stuff 144 botts of vino in the back of the Disco, along with all the other stuff. Not used to doing it without the other trailer.

Only worrying thing was a grey hatchback that stopped to see what was going on then went off.
Having been burgled twice we are a bit hyper about it being peeps coming to case the joint. They always do it when we are away and with visas et al it wouldn't be that easy to come back over to sort it out.
Still, the weather has brightened up and it is supposed to be dry all day tomoz.
Sleep well all! :) :) :)

Morning all.
Couldn't sleep, as often happens.
But decided to use the time usefully for a change.
So found some stuff that needs packing that I had forgotten, (and W but we don't say that!)
Went online to to find I can precheck-in, even with the animals. Great! I thort.
Then after laboriously doing the whole thing for us the vehicles and the two animals stil in existence, found there is no way I can do it for the one that has passed.
So back to try and amend the booking.
Which I cannot do online I discovered as we "require assistance" i.e. W and her wheelchair, (though all they do is show us where to park and I do the rest.)
So I have wasted my time and will have to wait until they are in the office 10 O'clock Frog time, to ring and tell them.

Yep, I know, should have modified the booking earlier.

Might as well not bother and just turn up as usual!
Have a good day folks!

Yer could put a camera in yer house and view it online to see if fings put in the way have been moved.

Not a great start to the day TBH.
Liquid Cat pooh all over the hallway doormat(s) and down the hallway floor. :(
A really enjoyable clean up before you've even had a coffee.
Cleaned the worst, went & got a paper and then Vax "Spotwashed" it all.
Unlike me, I do hope you have a really good (and cat-poo-free) day. :D

That would entail having a hub plugged in here.
Problem is that with thunderstorms, if you leave it plugged in even with voltage protection etc, they get blown up, well malfunction, and need replacing, so Orange always advise you to unplug it before the storm arrives. Which we do! So can't risk leaving it on.
We do have an alarm which is supposed to telephone you when it goes off.
It worked for a while with a mobile SIM card, but recently that hasn't worked either, we think because the mobile coverage isn't as good as it used to be.
It also had a bad habit of going off randomly, especially when there was a high wind, and we got fed up of having to bother the neighbours to check. (and they may well have got fed up of it too!) We do at least now have neighburs nextdoor who do keep and eye out and the new chap will be coming up 2 or 3 times a day to see to the horses and he too will check.

Well, got the new ferry ticket, but didn't get a penny back as we had "started the journey"!
Apparently with a return ticket, even if you took the first part in April, you are still on the journey when you go back! So no refunds, and it would have cost us £25 to modify the ticket, if they hadn't knoced off the £30 for the hanimal. So I was owed £5 but you get no refunds.............. cos you are still on the journey.
I asked her what would have heppened if we had simply turned up without the dog, she didn't know.
I said we could just have taken the ashes with us and said "scan this then"!
Bonkers!.
