Having bought one two years ago, yes Brian James car trailer, I am wondering if it was cheaper in Germany or in the UK.
TBH I cant remember, I think we stopped looking at the price when we knew it would be so much easier to get it from Germany. But as it had the right paperwork and a temp reg plate it was actually legal to tow it back and made it easier to register at this end.
If we towed back from the UK would of have had to come back slightly illegally in that they have the car reg plate which is fine in the UK but not in EU (with BG plates on the car) we did it with the first horseboxšŸ˜°.

I've just seen something interesting. I took Xylia to the doctors, which is a health centre with a pharmacy on site. Whilst I was speaking to the pharmacy staff on behalf of Xylia, out of the corner of my eye I noticed two men come in - a bit grubby, so I assumed they were workmen. However, they loaded themselves up with items from a display of over-the-counter medication in the customer area of the pharmacy and then exited briskly with no attempt to pay for anything. One had a small rucksack and the other just carried the items in his arms. Multiple packs of painkillers, bottles of Gaviscon indigestion mixture, tubes of ointment and much more. Hmm. More evidence of the de facto decriminalisation of shoplifting? A few minutes later a young woman came out from behind the counter and tidied up the display where they'd disarranged everything, and spaced the remaining products out so the gaps weren't so obvious.

Is there any legitimate reason why someone might wander into a chemist, grab armfuls of products and exit without paying?

I've a horrible feeling caravans have to be "homologuƩes"
Again, i will check, as in BG, they have their own regi and may even require a Contole technique, so more like a car than a trailer in the UK.

Yep you might as well be imprting a car: total pain.:(

(Oh and yes, I can hear @kevstar chortling at "homo-lo- guĆ©es" cos yes that is how "-guĆ©es" is pronounced! ) šŸ¤£

Ours require MOT (equivalents) 2 yearly on the small 750kg, yearly on the big 3500kg, 6 monthly on the 3500kg horsebox because its over 10yrs old.
Its a bit of a money grabbing thing really TBH, but the registration is a good thing (albeit a PITA at the time).

Do I take it that you insure them all separately?

I'm looking for another car for the household, wee runaround good for town in the 7k mark

However the sensible little petrol one may not be this but to say I'm not tempted will be lying.

Mornin volks. Up urly ferrus dugs, gorra blud tess ledder on, wundrin if there be a markit fer me unwantid blud as there be shedlodes uvvit aboat šŸ˜‚.
See Trumpā€™s adda nuvva bloke try to pop im. Wunder wot fat orange sex pest liar is payin fer these ā€œattemptsā€.
An entertaining thought, but.. The first one must have been a crack shot to miss his pumpkin head and ping just his ear. And the second was a Ukraine supporter with a history, even though he voted for the tangerine twit in 16 apparently.
Luckily gahd saved his ass both times, though I'd be tempted to give him downstairs the credit..
