Its just like work but without the wages. I'm now so busy that I genuinely don't know how I managed to find time for work. S'pose its wot you get used to. I do like my retirement betterer than wurk.
We are not officially OAPs, yet we have managed to get rid of the stuff that got in the way of retirement

Me too, I had a load of personal stuff to do back in 2015. Was meant to get it done and go back to work (was working freelance so it was do-able). So I was self unemployed for a bit then one thing lead to another and I just never got round to going back. Still a few months away from state pension age cos they keep upping the limitWe are not officially OAPs, yet we have managed to get rid of the stuff that got in the way of retirement
. When I realised I wasn't gonna / didn't wanna work again I started to find a few unexpected bonuses - like car insurance premiums dropped like a stone. Hair cuts are cheaper.
