My Ma was out shopping once, went into C&A and, just of interest, asked a person working there what C&A stood for.
"Cheap and awful" he said, without hesitation!

Of course they should and all garages should offer to repair your car with secondhand parts, as is law in Frogland (only non-safety items mind, yet they then force you to buy tyres that match and one over 5 years old is too old to repair!
