My bro just emailed me and in amongst all his other stuff he mentioned a pic my great grandfather painted and that he has hung onto ever since my gran died in about 1993. He was a good painter and we have two of his in pride of place on our sitting room wall.I might see if ive got any rattle cans left & spray the wall the same as the landy
"Heaver that" (heavier than)Cause 50kg of pea gravel is heaver that 50kg of water.
Hmm!
I hain't a physics teacher is I, or was I?!
He had been sent to watch me teach and learn "classroom management" from me.
I was explaining to the class how the metric system came about as it sort of happened in Frogland. For a laugh, thinking he'd know, I asked him how much a litre of water weighed in kilos. He looked a bit embarrassed and said "I'll have to come back to you on that one!"
Fortunately it didn't hurt his street cred, he was a volunteer with the RNLI, which goes for cool in our school.

He said it is 5 foor by 3 foot and he has nowhere to hang it. And the sort of bungalow he is looking at moving into don't have space for it either.
So we maybe getting it. Haven't told W yet. But she likes his stuff too.

But then if a thing falls off the back of a lorry you must expect the odd ding or two!!
(Sorry mate couldn't resist!) Hope you get a proper replacement soon.
I'm so happy you used the word "patina" before I did!I did get a butlers sink, I got a copper one. If it fell of a lorry id be keeping it with the patina road rash.
