Sadly, doubt it.... the new window is in and the results are (as I expected) totally underwhelming.
Herself thought the hall would be flooded by light, but I knew all the angles/obscuring brickwork would mean its effect would be minimal. Guess who was right?
So, she is a bit grumpy about blowing £1500 on her pet project for a nil-result.
I have suggested we paint the dark brickwork we can now see through this new window in brilliant white to maximise reflected light.
Maybe she will listen to me when I say "it isn't really worth it babe's" next time. Who knows?

Nowadays when the D2TD5 throws its toys out of the pram I do have a little think about a Freeloader.
I just wonder what its towing capacity is as we tow a Citroen C3 on a car trailer and I'm not sure that wouldn't all weigh too much.
