I'm taking a week off in June to go hiking and camping in the Lakes. Just wondering if my knees are up to the Scarth Gap. Last time I did it they were forty years younger.

8.5 million pensioners are expected to pay income tax in 2023/24, with 1.2 million already added since the tax band freeze began.

Still don't make it right its a thin line and most of them have stepped over. That was a foreseeable thing, hinted at during the 'Austerity' phase....

Let us know what you find. I've got some peculiar symptoms on the Honda engine on my welder generator. It'll start fairly easily but then stop after a few seconds. This happens about five times and then it will run fine and I can get some welding done. It feels a bit like fuel starvation, yet there's plenty in the tank which is mounted above the engine and is fed by gravity down to the carb. It's fairly new so I was hoping it wouldn't be choked with muck just yet.Well me 'new' Honda mower still wont start
