We got rid of both front and rear gardens last year. No more grass cutting or tree pruning. Just rake the stones now and againGave me grass the first cut of the year yesterday. Mower was not running smoothly for some of the time, so gave it a service this morning. Fitted a new diaphragm in the carby and gave it an oil change. Running sweetly again
Got solar panels and don't use much gas, I turn the gas off in May and back on again around October, before lockdown my bill was 15 quid a month in the summer but now it's going to be 30 quid I recon
at -3 I just heat my living room and have other rooms on low
I much prefer it to M25. He drives that bit so I leave it to himOK, one of Essex's best kept joys for motorists. Usually all screwed up by the M25 intersection and problems on the M-Way network.

The insurances are after max. no claims on both policies, no accidents, no claims, no convictions etc. BUT I'm now considered as an aged danger!!

Thay is knocking brick work down and installation of catnik or simler lot of dust and messThen putting that stuff down in the hall etc seems very over the top for protection of the environs.
If that is what they are doing then good on them.
When we had all the windows replaced they put no p[rotection down at all. Mind they did a good job and left no mess.
They replaced 1980 wood framed single glazed with plassy framed DG units. Didn't evn have to repaint or anything. And they did it all from inside so no need for scaffolding.
I had a plan to build 4 saw horses for a job this arvo. Lost interest and have settled in to watch Minder and Professionals
