Hope it works as well as you thuink once the stuff has dried off.
Just wathced a prog on making axminster carpets, which ended with what to use to clean three types of stain. Very interesting, especially the one on red wine!!
Which got me searching for a way of removing dog wee, as we have a stain on the newish upstairs bedroom carpet from when one was a puppy. Cleaning companies have failed to shift it. So I googled it and came up with one that looks hopeful even for dried in accidents.
If anyone is interested.
The "Acne Scrubber" has been a great success. The items are stainless/"spotless". Very pleased with it. :)

Well today has mostly been spent on the road tween 'ere and Lunnen. But we picked up the passports with their visas, correct dates, phew!
And called in to pick up most of our winnings from Ringwood auction.
I spent a lot of the evening going through the box of watches I got. Two are particulalrly nice, the Citizen eco-drive chronograph with its dark brown leather strap. Has sat under a light for a while and now runs fine. And the Seiko 5 automatic, dark blue face, 21 jewels, which runs brilliantly. The metal strap is very particular and one link too small but I've ordered a 2nd hand strap off the bay for a tenner to pinch links from. A Citizen chronograph just needs a new batt as does a nice Sekonda.
32 other extraneous ones that would run with a new batt in, (some already running) including one brand new, in-its-box, with papers, lady's Sekonda, (very pink) all of which I'll not bother with and 11 decent brand name ones, such as Rotary, Emporio Armani, Lorus etc, which I may either stick a batt or two in or put in a separate lot.
amazing what you can get for £50! This happens when a jeweller or a lickle watchmaker retires or dies.
Anyway! Keeps me out of the pub!
I think I might try flogging some ont Bay or somewhere having looked at the prices some of 'em are fetching.
Enyway, sleep well folks!!:):):)

Morning All. :D
Not a bad day here. :)
Shopping though later. :(
Have a great day! :D
Lucky you, it is dull, drizzly and very windy - and going to get windier as the day progresses. Not looking forwards to the 70 mile round trip to the MH dealer as they try to stop the water pouring in through its roof!!! High vehicles in 40+mph winds is not very nice. :(

That sounds perfectly horrid. Best wishes for a safe journey. :)

Safe travels Dolly. Hope you get a result on the MH anorl :)

Because you like the d2s another one wouldn't hurt your collection, cannot prepare enough for the future.
You mistake me. (And I have got my new glasses!🤣)
I have 2 D1s that I love but are not roadworthy in one case or insured and MOTd in the other cos of LPG certification issues. The one and only D2 was bought when I couldn't drive so we had to have an auto. I hate the electric problems on it. Yet another reared its ugly head today and I am dreading putting it in for its MOT later this month.
I should have got at least one of the other two sorted out ages ago, but life, new kitchen etc got in the way. Plus, it does run and does keep passing MOTs but with constant work. When it IS running I kinda like it and the boot is a bit bigger, But if I preferred it we'd have got rid of the other ones ages ago.

The one in Kevs pics looks in great condition. Despite the colour. I'd be tempted to buy it and put a 300 tdi in it! Shame it is yet another auto. 🤣
