That's because it not Stevie Wonder but Ray Charles 😂😂😂😂😂
You can hear about it on the grapevine
Yet again posted before reading to the end of the thread. But "Heard it through the grapevine" was by Gladys Knight and the Pips.
or it was first time round. When I heard it and danced to it in the clubs in the early 70s.
Nowt to do with Ray Charles or Stevie Wonder I don't think!
Perhaps he had a little "influence"
"Producer Norman Whitfield worked with Strong on the song, adding lyrics to Strong's basic Ray Charles influenced gospel tune and the single chorus line of "I heard it through the grapevine"."

But there is one Stevie Wonder song that is appropriate for the non-plastering job

🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣

Am i living in an alternate universe? Stone when is 5c 'a few degrees below normal for the time of year?
Have i missed something? It's normal to have at least a bit of frost in December/January

Is it just me or are all the big nobs on the Nooker falling by the wayside?

Been watching it a bit but not too closely. (W not into it.)
I've even heard the talking heads mentioning the table as a problem!
Ronnie O sullivan and Hawkins currently playing like acouple of drunken members of the WI!
Ronnie just sent the cue ball flying through the air completely missing the pink!!!!!
This is entertainment but in the LOL sense!!! 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣

That's easier said than done with a 93yr old to look after in the early morns all week and a 3yr old to look after late afternoon three days a week ... after a 25 mile drive and a one mile walk there to get to her ...
I once had a holiday job as the only night porter in a cottage hospital. One half was Geriatric, the other half was Maternity.
I was under strict instructions to never enter the maternity part as the risk of cross contamination or spreading infection from the crumblies to the babies was too great.
So whenever I had to take an afterbirth to the incinerator they left it out for me then closed the door.
They were right too seeing as how mending and clearing up after bed pan washing machines bust, removing soiled bedclothes, and other mucky jobs were par for the course! Quite apart from wheeling the stiffs to the mortuary.
Only there 3 weeks but some hilarious things happened!
There were only ever me and the nurses on duty at night.
I had to do security rounds all over the buildings including all the bits that were no longer in use.
Twas a mite creepy, the place had in former times been the local work house.
But it was lovely when the sun came up and I could watch fox cubs playing on the lawns.

So I sympathise with your work load. ;):)

Just back from the hospital where I've been with Xylia all night. They keep looking at her, putting tubes in her arms, taking samples of blood and taking her temperature. But we're not quite sure what's wrong. Painful joints and muscles, swelling and inflammation, especially her face. She thinks it's cellulitis, but nobody seems to be sure. Maybe more news today, once they analyse the blood samples. So we've spent around 9 hours sitting on plastic chairs in A&E, occasionally being called into consulting rooms for yet another blood sample. She's still there, but I've come home to take care of pets.

Sorry to hear this. I hope they can get to the bottom of it and that she's on the mend asap. :)

Mostly on the A12
There's a nice burger van in the layby at Frostenden with some loos, Mind you I think theres 1 right next to his yard (I have never actually been to him. Did meet him once in the car park of wickes though he stopped to chat when he saw the 630r.
If you actually take the first? right after that it takes you through the back roads and brings you out on the Elough road, instead of having to go to Lowestoft then back out to elough.

Used to do that alot as I lived in North Cove.

Safe trip.
