Maybe they'll "hand fill" the empty!I’ll take it back in the morning - personally in person and give them a good ticking off

Wars are all about wealth and power. Often with religion as a spin for the general population, but still about power and wealth. The emancipation of slaves in the US was a similar smoke and mirrors spin by the north - as the southern states wealth was rooted in slavery. The writers of the history books overlook this of course -----Makes me wonder where the UK would be now if they hadn't decided to fight over slaves, and other things.
Yes Presto are still going. They say Presto England on the tin but they are made in China and the head office is in Sheffield so get around it that way.Think you will find Presto has a long British history like Dormer.
I wonder why they are still going .
@My Old Landy would know, sure he has biscuit tins full of both.

Is it a front loading bobbin or top loading?G'day all.
W gorn out to her sewing so now had a chance to open up the huge box from eBay.
The pedal for the sewing machine. Tts weird plug fits and it all works!
Whooppee! and a big "phew". So that is one surprise Christmas present to be wrapped up.
I then delved deeper into the box and found that not only did the other machine come with "no storage" as described, but it also came with no spare feet, no spare bobbins, no tools and no other computer card. So I messaged him and asked for a partial refund.
We have settled on £40 so nearly a third back off. Also discovered from the manual I bought to go with it (surprise present number 2) that the wire and plug fits inside the pedal and the pedal clips to the back of the machine under the cover, very neat!
So pretty chuffed all round!
Weather cancelled due to lack of interest.
Have a good arvo folks!!!
.... stay away from cheap "Drill-sets".
I foolishly bought a comprehensive set from 2mm to 12mm in 0.5mm steps.
There are about 10 each in the smaller ones, and 5..7 each in the larger ones.
Only problem is that none of them turn "true". Well, certainly not in the 4mm size.
I found the least wobbly pair and proceeded to drill a hole. The first one was blunt after c. 3mm the next one after about another 9mm. Awful!
Oh well, promised an 18y/o and only got a 27y/o limited edition sherry cask bottle

So not all bad I suppose
Nope cos I can’t stand the stuff but….Are you going to open it or what.
Front, I think. Is it a front loading bobbin or top loading?
Will it be a $hit time for all involved?W has taken the first dose of laxative, her virtual colonoscopy is the day after tomorrow.
We had booked to go to the theatre tomorrow, but her appt for this came very suddenly, with no time to move it.
So that's £50 we won't see again.
She has yet to be "ensconced", that'll prolly happen tomorrow.
Poor thing!
Come on1 you're supposed to be psychic aren't you?...I am miffed.
I pick the glass crate up to put it outside and walk back in and close the door.
I go to the bog and then hear the front door-bell ringing.
I go to the front door to find an angry wife accusing me of locking her out.
She had followed me out, but turned right and gone down the side of the house to get a load of cardboard to put out and I had got back inside before she had re-appeared.
So, they walk out behind you, say f-all about their presence and f-off round the side of the house and you are meant to know they are there?
FFS, I am so cross at being grumped at.
I cannot believe the amount of grief I have received over this simple thing. Despite me saying didn't know you were out there I am not believed. Despite me having to get up from the bog to let her back in (while my trews were done up but my belt still undone) I am still not believed. Psycho or what?]Come on1 you're supposed to be psychic aren't you?
I know I am!!!
Poopier for one than the other. But no picnic at all. Will it be a $hit time for all involved?
Best Wishes for your Mrs.Poopier for one than the other. But no picnic at all.
I did it but for a proper physical one, either last year or the beginning of this. I forget. Not too bad but not funny really. Still, I've been told I'll never need to do another. Hope W's problem whatever it is will be revealed.
Simple answer is that if you had meant to lock her out, and knew what you were doing, you would not have let her back in.I cannot believe the amount of grief I have received over this simple thing. Despite me saying didn't know you were out there I am not believed. Despite me having to get up from the bog to let her back in (while my trews were done up but my belt still undone) I am still not believed. Psycho or what?]
