Had an epiphany moment trying to work out how on earth to fit that wretched worktop as it cannot be slid into place without leaving a big gap at the back left. So been working on that a lot today.
Hoping I've sussed it.
Got a deadline now as son-in-law is coming with dottir this weekend so he should give me a lift with it.
I have got, or ordered, all W's Christmas presents.
We are now into the no man's land of "How many has she got me?" "How much more stuff do I need to get her?" Every year she does this, pretending that "This one is from the doggies." Etc etc. So on Christmas day she opens about 5 or 6 pressies and I spend hours opening more and more.
It is more the fact that I have so little imagination. And I think she starts in about August. Plus the fact she buys me tons of books all the time!

We will be practising Christmas dinner soon as we will be doing something new. We never normally practise new dishes, even when doing them for dinner parties. Walk on the wild side, eh?

Right then this worktop saga is annoying me now get the pics up, when offering the worktop to the wall you need a spacer
say a bit of timber 2"x 4" then put the timber on the wall & a pencil on the worktop side (away from the wall) move the timber
along the wall with the pencil & the same time to draw a line on the worktop & cut it off...this will give the shape of the wall
onto your worktop. Could try with a scrap bit o timber then transfer the shape onto the worktop.

Clear as mud right 🤣 🤣
