I guess with the precipitation/strong winds they get it's pretty much essential.That's what I like about roofs in Scotland. They're boarded over before things like felt, battens and tiles go on. It seems to me to make a much better job.

I seem to remember us having had a chat about this before. Pit or using the ramps in some unit you use, if I remember correckly.
Mind, even a lift that doesn't go all the way up can be useful. I'd fit one in my ornery garage as I could then store 2 kit cars in the normal space for one car, and could work on a car if I was prepared to sit or kneel. Which i would be.
