Road tax is low, insurance is very low and mine - new last year - has a 'used' value now more than I paid for it - several ££££'s more than I paid for it! AND I have had many weeks use out of it already over the last 14 months.
Yes, I am fortunate that I can keep it at home on my multi-acre estate (
).
The only downside I can see is that it is far too handy for people to think about coming and staying for a free holiday!!!!!!
A big plus is that I can take my two loyal pals with me everywhere I go and because we are always close to nature we experience lots of things lost for 'brick' dwellers and hotel holiday makers. There is nothing better than being king (or in your case a mere Lord) over your very own demesne!
Something you do not experience is that I can choose where I go in my MH nobody can dictate that to me.
Crashes can happen to anyone, anywhere, even a traveller going by car to their chosen hotel but don't confuse a MH with a caravan when it comes to repairs.
Have I given you any food for thought?
