Wake up at three a.m. Take a glass and a bottle, light a candle. Have a few drams keeping an eye on the candle. When you see two, carry on, when you see three, blow the middle one out and go to sleep!!I've had a couple through the week if I had any tonight would have been in bed by 7 and probably awake at 3am

Question:
Do people still buy ex deep-sea trawlers and convert them to live-aboard cruisers?
How do they ever get rid of the smell of fish?
We never met him. We had various parish priests at all the churches we went to. The school had its own chapel attached and the priest was a brill bloke. He used to come to our house, drink whisky and smoke his pipe with my parents when we were in bed. Father Cooper. Real honest genuine bloke.Did the Bishop teach you

Sadly went a bit off his head, preaching to his elderly female congregation about the horrors of abortion and such. So got hidden away in some sort of Catholic sanatorium where they looked after him until he passed on. He did my first confession and my first communion. So funny thinking back to all this happening before I was 8 years old.
We moved south and lost the faith.
So I laugh more at Father Ted than W does. She doesn't find it funny at all. I think you have to have been a Catholic to laugh so hard at it!!
And of course Dave Allen!!
I think mine is my job atm. Recently had a week off and feel shattered still.I get that, but I know the reason.
Wind.
Neither of us knows where it comes from, nothing to do with what I eat or drink or how fast. I just have to move around belching until eventually I get back to sleep.
The weird thing is there is nothing to tell me this is the problem, no pain, nothing, just can't flipping sleep.
This was in the early 60s we left Hull in 63. Centre partings didn't come along until the 70s.Bet your hair was parted in the middle when he was saying to you there there young Stan
