Kicking the lad up the Khyber Pass??Guess wot the first job is tomorrow.
Any virgin creepers come round the side of my hoose, well.....Hi all.
Got up fairly early for once.
Spent a while fighting the weeds in the field next to our place getting rid of a tarpaulin's worth of weeds. the tarp hadn't been touched since W broke her ankle so it was well covered in flipping brambles.
Then took said tarp back to where W had put loads of other weeds and cuttings of the rose bushes on the trailer that I dragged out yessdi. So I had to fight them onto the tarp then use it to drag them onto the other piece of land yet again, could barely put one foot in front of another due to the brambles.
So back with the tarp for another lot.
Then affixed it to the trailer to stop it blowing away. Then up on the roof cutting and pulling the Virginia creeper away from the top-side of the house. Job done, then was time to head off out.
Went shopping then to a cafe for a beer before taking W to her physio then a visit to friends in town. Natter, natter , natter for a bit. Home, shopping away finish off the dins we had started to cook afore going out.
Life is a such a rich tapestry.
I am seriously thinking I am going to have to get a small tractor and some bits to go with it to be able to clear the land we don't use. About 3000 sq metres which is just a pile of ferns, weeds etc etc.
I told W years ago "I am not a gardener I hate gardening" and here am I contemplating becoming a farmer.
Multi poop!
