Eye wondered if he had a high vis as they can help yer to be seen. He said he had two flags but they ain't always noticeable when the trike is moving if the air flow points them at the drive behind. Eye sometimes see someone wiv an orange flag on a stick. Fink he's local. Flag is just above head height. Yer dun't notice it untill yer overtaking him. At least wiv a trike theres a chair that could be brightly coloured or have hazard yella and black stripes, like a bumble bee.
That Mini that I got hit in looked like a bumble bee. Bright yellow except for black bonnet, black roof, black boot lid, black rear valance and black sills.

Thick dooper still didn't see me and it was a bright sunny day too.

I should have buzzed louder!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Some years ago eye seen a pic of a police rr. It were parked on the ard shoulder of a motorway. As a motorway vehicle of the late 90's it had a lot of extea red and blue lights. All flashing. Some were 8 inch diameter. Imagine 4 of them flashing on the rear, 2 red 2 blue, plus others. Someone whacked it up the rear. Sometimes peeps dun't see fings as they weren't lookering. Easily done. Yer look at a house as yer drive by. When doing so yer ain't looking forwards.

Just read that if you move to France with bike licence from before they were digitised, you may not be able to ride a big bike.
69 yr old blokey is well flipped off! €18k Beemer he can't ride.
If he wants to he has to buy a smaller bike, ride it for 2 years then go on a 7 hour course.

"I'm not doing that" he says!!!

Pffft then it'll be a €18k doorstop.:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:,.

His (hottish) 54 yr old wife whose licences are both digitised can ride what she wants!🤣🤣🤣🤣

Sorry I know I shouldn't laugh but his stroppy attitude won't get him anywhere over here!!

This is why w gives me a running commentary on stuff I don't look at out of the side windows as she knows I don't take my eyes off the road.
Something like 10% of accidents on Motorways happen on the hard shoulder, which is why the advice is to get out of your car over the barrier and way up the embankment.
It's also why the plods etc park behind you, so their vehicle gets hit and not you.

Can also be people falling asleep at the wheel, or on their flipping phones. :(:(:(

I think it is a human trait to look to see dangers that are "what we expect to see" and our mind dismisses things that are not in our sphere of experience or that our subconscious says "doesn't belong here". This is what I think happens.

Personally, I am always looking for the out of place bear.
