Especially if you were doing truck and tractor tyres - those things are heavy. With so many things, the temptation is just to heave it, rather than follow the good practice guidelines and treat as two person lift, or get the hoist out. When I bought the bits for my digger, the man at the plant merchants said 'how are you going to get it out?' as he fork lifted the heavier object into the back of the Land Rover. 'I'll use an engine crane' I said, but in the event I just hoiked the 200Kg item out by hand. I used the engine crane to lift it onto the back of the digger of course, but there's a lot of heavy lifting involved if you look after machinery.Pain ooooftt ive given my body a battering thinking about it, playing ice hockey, heavy weight training, commercial/agricultural
tyre fitting, time trial cycling (hill climbs) ice climbing n snowboarding. Even now boat moorings heavy chains/train wheels
If I slow down I'll turn into...........
