High pressure gloom up here today. :(
20.9 in da house. W complaining about the cold and dressing to suit. Me still in shorts and polo shirt.
Might go out and mend the machine then do a bit, but not enough to set my back off yet a-flipping-gain. 🤔
Blocked sewage outlet seems to have cured itself. Whooppee! Without my checking it thoroughly, but no funny noises or backing up when we flush so "things" heading in the right direction!:)
"Hot" water so "not hot" due to lack of sun that I'll need to put the "immersion" on for a bit.

Have a good day folks, and don't worry another mini heatwave due soon!! But they have downgraded the temps from what they were supposed to be.

Have a good one folks!:):):)

Amazon has just decided i need a flashing amber LED beacon. I've never searched for one, nor anything similar! Why would it suggest this? It suggested insect repellant anorl!! Something else I've never searched for!!
I did search for a clock the other day...

I've just bought one of those Starlink satellite internet systems to take to Wales. The cellular signal there continues to get worse and the service dropouts are more frequent and longer lasting, no matter how high I place the antenna. I must say I'm impressed. The box arrived on my doorstep within 36 hours of the order being placed, and all I had to do was put the satellite dish outdoors, plug it in to the router and the router into the mains and within moments I had a 200 Mbps download speed. I was reluctant to put even more money in Elon Musk's pocket, but the alternative would be to struggle on with the mobile network. Some people place multiple antennae at a distance from one another and employ a more powerful signal booster, but you can easily spend more on that than a Starlink kit. And if the cellular signal simply isn't there, or won't bear internet traffic, then no amount of equipment can help you.

I'll see what it does in Wales. Everything goes more slowly in Wales. That's an attractor surface so powerful that even the mighty Elon can't perturb it for long.

Flip!!
Forgot to inventory the Gaillac what we bought at the wine fair.
Just noted it all down, just got to enter it up.
9 more lines to type up.
Warmer now, sun shining, been cutting brush having "mended" the big machine, (How that wheel is expected to stay on, indeed how it has stayed on for all these years, is beyond me!)
Reinstalled pump in rainwater tank, (now nicely filled up).
Polytunnel watered, plants tied up, produce gathered (never had so many aubergines, I think we are going to have to find a recipe for aubergine soup!)
Hope you have all had a productive arvo.
Have lovely evening!
