And me. Just noticed yesterday (well 'er indoors drew one's attention to it). Earlier this year we had bees move into the eaves, left them to it. Wasps have taken over - dunno if they have ousted the bees, or moved in when they left. How does we get rid of wasps???? :gunner: 🐝🐝🐝
Dunno, they will go eventually. Then they won't ever come back because they don't use the same nest twice

When I was a little Wimblowdriver, me n the other street urchins used to raid any wasp nests we discovered. Tactics ranged from poking bangers into the nest, squirting hot water mixed with domestos from squeezey bottles, lighting small fires and so on. Despite wearing extra clothing and any protection we could muster, we always got multiple stings and generally came second in the battle.

Just got hands covered in varnish, got bloomin gloves in my pocket as well
Almost finished sides of model packing case

What did you hope to get from a nest? There's no honey!

I put Nippon powder into the entry/exit holes they were using and they carried it back into the nest and they all died.

Did he sing the big break theme song to get her in the mood?

Never been to Paris

Please any nissan suv drivers, Hyundai tuscons. Basically any of the rash type SUVs driven by the "full time mummy types" yes I know I'm a female that has an SUV but mine was because I wanted it and not because I need to have it for children. You know any silver Merc is driven by a snooty woman with bleach blonde hair. I could go on.

Not sure I wasnt there 🤣

Not saying it isn't nice, it is, and whatever the engine is in it, it looks tasty anorl, you'll doubtless tell me but some sort of Ford twin cam I'd guess.
I just have a massive soft spot for all marks of Cortina having driven and owned all of them, even used one as a donor for my last kit car. Love tuning the Pinto engine.
My only Mk1 I bought when I came back from France, got married in it, drove it all over the UK, including Scotland and France until it succumbed to rust. Just love the look of it, the saloon that is, above all the others.
Family owned one and we toured all over Europe in it with camping gear in the boot and a boat on the roof.
Maybe I ought to flog one of the Discos and buy one, while stocks last!

The engine is a focus st170 with a bda rocker cover ;)
