Bet he did a wee wee!
a lot of velcro to help me finish off the windy-uppy thing for the bubble wrap cover.
No we didn't, didn't realise you could get them on their own without the hugely expensive roller thing.Did you not get the strap kit?
Similar to these https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Aquabud...Kit-8PCS-for-Swimming-Solar-Pool/353076369970
Although I usually end up screwing the strap to the pole cos the heat melts the glue and they fall off .

Was she is no longer with usTis the queens burfday today.
No we didn't, didn't realise you could get them on their own without the hugely expensive roller thing.
But still ahead as I expect the glue to give way so have got full length velcro so I can wrap it right round the pole, more than a few times, the other bit I'll simply tie knots in and thread throught the eyelets which I had the sense to order with it. Those white clip-on things look not too good.
If the glue STILL fails I'll drill and pop rivet.

These are totally independent of your current electrical supply and run independent from external influence and no wiring to cut the marvels of satelliteO
ours too has a back up battery that is supposed to last days, handy in case the scrotes cut a wire to try and shut it up. Or in case of a power cut. But if the power cut blows the CB then we have to ask friends to go in and reset it/them. Solar might be OK except that we are not there in the winter so even with the back up batts...

Aha, satellite, that is the missing piece of the jigsaw. These are totally independent of your current electrical supply and run independent from external influence and no wiring to cut the marvels of satellite
I have completed the first edition of the roller mechanism, it is now sitting on its roller under its special little cover, the string and Velcro design worked fine, resting on a temporary base of two trestles with 4 clamps to keep it centralised. It wound up pretty straight for a first attempt and, as you say, I was careful to lift it out of the end of the pool so nothing caught on the overhanging slabs.Do you have a stone surround on the edge of the pool that has a small overhang?
We do and I have found its easier to lift the cover and give it a tug over the edge before trying to wind it up. Less stress on the cover fixings, and eyelets was a good call I think, not had that option here.
And get the roller straight as it will wind up wonky if not
Get in it. Get W in it hope it will help her foot
Been in today and will go in again later, our cover has been off now for about a week (i think) in an attempt to keep it away from bath temps. Its still sitting around 29-30.

Never a nice situation to be in, I hope he mentioned to plod about her habit of allegations. Get it in first sort of thing...that WW3 has started.
My boy has finally gone on the offensive and had a chat with the police about the antics his ex-wife (is getting up to and his concerns for his children). Coppers have given him some homework to do and have suggested they will alert social services.
They aske him if he wanted to press charges for all the harassment at this time, but he said "I've warned her I will raise a formal charge if she ever does it again and so far she's stopped, but I don't think it will last, so let's wait & see.
We fully expect her to make allegations about inappropriate behaviour or abuse against him WRT her and the kids as she has already done this against her step-dad and Grand-dad in the past. I think she's a head-case.
She's off work for "mental-health" reasons ATM. Why she is allowed to have the kids I don't know.
Oh yes, he's already told them all this, and he has a full log of all the messages. There are even nudy pics & vids taunting him about what he's missing. There's bizarre texts and messages with pics late at night/early hours and he is going to screen shot them all and hand it in as a log to the police.Never a nice situation to be in, I hope he mentioned to plod about her habit of allegations. Get it in first sort of thing.
Tell him to save any communications. Text/ email/ record calls, it will all help. I know.
