..... Missing part found! Planetary Disaster Averted.

20 minutes of swearing sweeping and grovelling around on the floor disclosed the location of the missing part from yesterday. Where? Yes, right at the back of the wall tight in the corner between wall and floor.
Had to coax it out from there with a hand brush.

Well I made a rissotto, a dish we both love, but once we got to bed she started throwing up, had a bad night and is still very badly.
She has to inject herself with anti-thrombosis stuff every night. One of the side effects is just this. She felt a bit 'ick the first time and dint want her dins, so we switched injection time to later.
(This purely cos of the bust ankle.)
I have to see the chiro this a.m. so she is staying in bed.
Problem is she threw up all her other pain medication and is now going cold turkey on it which has similar effects.
Can't flipping catch a bbreak at the mo.

O'dear shes not having a great time of it atm I hope she recovers soon.

Looks like great fun!:):):)
It was missing a step while carrying a pile of books etc that did for W's back long before I met her. she didn't fall, just came down heavily on the next step.
The docs were so stoopid they couldn't see that the pain in her hip was referred pain from her back.
7, yes SEVEN, years later, she went to London where she was found to have 3 slipped discs.
These had worn the nerve away to the point where her left foot is paralysed.
She has had about 7 ops on her back and now has a tunsten cage in there. She takes tons of morhpine etc for the pain.

So yes, stairs and steps are bliddy dangerous places.

Bet youve still got yin o these bad boys............ 🤣

Better than my box brownie 😉

Was ordered to inspect sis-in-laws shower this morning. Sussed it and was heading home in me tratter and turned the aircon on and it started making a howling noise. First time switched on this year. And the engine went into limp mode (aircon has connections to the ECU apparently. Got home, the pump thing was red hot. Cleared the faults with me nanocom. Hopefully it was just an aircon problem and not something more sinister. Will find out next time I drive it.

Evening folks :)

Well that new blue passport in hand. Very painless process was very surprising. They only let you into the building 10-15mins before your appointment time, so 1:15 in I go and out at 1:30:vb-banana:

Still no bt landline may speak to them tomorrow.

The guy who came and cut the grass in the paddock last Monday, turned it other day a bailed it today. Not a bad haul for his winter feed out of a half acre( think).

I'm wiv plusnet. When picking it i had to state if there were any vulnerable peeps in me castle. Only edgar and he dun't count. The laser and receive diode in the new box they fitted needs leccy power. Hence yer lose internet when there is a power cut. Yer can pick the option of a UPS if theres someone who may need to call 999 if power is oft.

When using copper internet and fone they still work in a power cut as BT power it themselfs wiv batteries.

Part of yer problem is down to the person doing the wurk. They should have assessed if they could complete the job or not. They won't have replacement copper cable with them.
To be honest I don’t know what is fully happening, all I know is they left my Dad in a right fluster with mum in hospital at the time.
All I can say is they all had a big bowl of incompetence for breakfast that day.
All I can say is they’re gonna get another ear bashing tomorrow as they said it had been escalated and would be 2 working days. That was Friday and nowt today.
I will ask to speak to the boss tomorrow and not bother with the underlings, and I will not be so polite ;)
It’s not like they are a new company is it? You would think they know what they are doing by now:rolleyes:

Enough said I can feel me bp going up as I type.

They are slowly going to them big roll bails here to don't no if thay are a good thing as you can't man handle them will thay do another cut later?
So now you have a blue one made in France 😳

Just remember you are likely to be speaking to the person who can help you. Keep them onside ----
Oh I understand that. Which is why I am never rude, but getting straight answers is difficult and when you have been promised twice an let down and it’s more likely going to be the original date which is Friday, I feel I have been lied too.
They just don’t seem to understand/care.

We don’t normally do it but the rain we had it got long so we asked him to cut it.
He has the cows a goats on the back common land so needs the winter feed.

We normally cut it or have a horse on it but not this year.
Normally gets cut with a 48”swisher towed by the quad.

We would get our hay/straw bales from him when M had the horse and they were normal bales. So still plenty bales still being done.
Last time he delivered some they came like this.
Last year we had his mare in the paddock and stable cos she was in foul.

Do sincerely hope you get it sorted.
And do try to stay calm. I know it goes against the grain but it might stop them throwing the phone down and doing naff all to help.
Symapthies mate!!;)

She's better now but still ain't got up.
Prolly tomoz!;)
OMG, the poor darling. She needs to rebuild her constitution with a diet of Brussel-sprouts , brown-ale and boiled eggs.
We can send you a nose peg to wear while she is getting better, of course. ;)

Can't be much fun having to inject yourself every day, and getting a dodgy tummy as a result. :(

Get better Mrs. Steamer.
