It is a hard backed book in excellent condition - he probably only looked through it for interest after we had been in Kent - although having resided on a book shelf for many years it does have a generous coating of dust!

Is it of any use to anyone? I am not wanting any fee but it will probably cost £2/3 to post and that cost I would appreciate.

Where we are there is such a microclimate that we cannot trust Méteo.fr for the twwo nearest areas to be anything klike accurate for us! One is 260 meteres below us the other is about 200 metres above us. We watch it avidly as we have to switch off and unplug phone and power to the hub every time. But this lot predict it when it aint happening and then don't when it does.

Plus Orange warn us when it is going to happen, and to unplug, but they always warn us AFTER it has happened!:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:
 
Sad day yesterday, went out to collect the eggs in the arvo and one of the hens was dead.
Croaked in the shed, up where they sleep. I noticed on approach two eggs at the bottom of the ramp, which was funny, sez I, then I looked inside. 😭 😭 😭
No sign of what caused it.
And they are the friendliest set of hens we have ever had, they crowd round me every time I go in their enclosure,
Sun shining today, I will see if I can do some exercise and get the W out doing some gardening in big pots from her wheelchair. She is driving memad poor thing!

It looks like a nice trip out 👍 around 90 miles from me so a good run for the Shogun!
 
Afternoon folks :).

Went into big town today and got pool ingredients. Gonna take off the cover tomoz as the rain seems to have stopped, put all the pump etc back in yesterday so pressure wash the summer cover then add the startup mixture so it should be useable by the end of the week for M.
I am going back to the UK on Thursday for a week,(provisionally) to see Mum & Dad, passport renewal in Peterbourgh on Tuesday. waiting to hear update today as to how she's doing, I did manage to speak with her Friday, modern tech has a place and can be great:).

Gonna have words with my big brother, Don't like that he seemed to think SIL was gonna take him over to visit Mum like a taxi service, so not happy, apparently nor was Dad so he may have already had words;).

So apart from that. the sun seems to be appearing all day every day and none of the Landys broke:vb-banana:.
Hopefully the grass will get the idea and stop bloody growing;).
The local small tractor with grass cutting discs came into the paddock and cut that while we were out, got to love good neighbor's:).

But yes it probably would help and yes it is usually a trapped nerve. Only trouble is getting a chiro strong enough to do the manouevre it takes to crack stuff back into position. I'll be seeing a female one on Weds. So fingas crossed.
Plus the exercises I normally do in these circs aren't working. In fact they are giving me aches in the stomach muscles.

that happened to me with the chiro first couple of times it worked but then I would tence up in anticipation but I did have acupuncture and that worked for 2 yrs but then back to normal I tend to get a bit of a for warning so anticipate it 😒😒

A rare seafloor earthquake occurred in the Gulf of Mexico about 130 miles southeast of Gulfport, Mississippi, and the source can’t be easily explained, experts say. The 3.3-magnitude quake happened around 11:15 p.m. Sunday, June 4, along the continental shelf, U.S. Geological Survey data shows. That area has no known fault lines or tectonic plate boundaries. But there could be an unknown fault line in the spot, according to USGS geophysicist Amy Vaughan.

The closest town to the quake is Venice, Louisiana, about 95 miles northeast, and no one there reported feeling it. USGS data shows it was centered just over 3 miles below the seafloor, the USGS says.

My thoughts too that's the name of the game now try and make it look like a natural phenomena .😟😟😟 no blame game
