Did I tell you that my big weed whacker has a primitive locker on the rear axle? No, design is the same, I just did not realise how badly it would likely affect a drive dog.
I shall find an alternative approach.
Sorry not to have put pics up, I was just so ticked-off I put it all away.
This no use then? No, design is the same, I just did not realise how badly it would likely affect a drive dog.

That's basically how a diff works intit? Just more pins, so to say..Did I tell you that my big weed whacker has a primitive locker on the rear axle?
Normally the wheels turn as driven by a chain, but they are a little bit independent. In the middle there is a disc with a single pin in it which if one wheel is spinning eventually hits up against another pin and then this forces the spinning wheel to lock to the other wheel, or rather the two shafts, if you see what I mean. So the shaft spins nearly 360 before this happens, I just have to wait patiently until this happens and it then drives off! I am now wondering if you cannot make a couple of discs with dogs on to make it work, bit like a crash box.
As all are saying, a few pics might help.
Sorry if my explanation is rubbish and short on technical terms.
