Have used Lanoguard over a 3 year period, seems to do the job, just a bit messy when applying, i.e. drips onto the drive.
In the salt for sea trout, but they are elusive as ever.
Thanks for that can you use it over other coats ? Got a real task on for sea trout but if you hit it right it will be good sport only ever caught 1 but have in the past had great days out of Southwold for bass drifting over sand banks 10 miles out my record was 28 average weight 12 lb great sport in a strong tide

Yer well I might tidy up tomorrow, it has taken me most of the day to get two of the outside shutters off think I went
ott on the bracing plus they are a foot deep & it was roasting today I was melting. ๐Ÿซ
Don't overdo it!
I am sorry it was so hot. We were in the clouds all day and I had to light a fire.
Bonkers!
Re the shuttering, better too well braced than not enough. ;)

I always though that for maximum strength you left the concrete to dry as slow as possible and left the shuttering in place?
I am probably wrong though.

Evening folks :).

So after a quick visit to the village party last night, we then went up at noon for the blessing at the chapel.
We are far from religious but its a village thing and the guy who organizes it invited us, So its a blessing then a cup of lamb soup to bring good health and prosperity for the coming year. But for a small village it was a nice turn out.

Then we were off into town for a performance of Lord of the dance:). Very good.
Just home and its time for bed. Done nothing really today but feel knackered, I often think doing nothing is just as tiering as doing a days work:confused:.

So back to it tomorrow.

Concrete does not harden by drying out. Quite the opposite, it needs water for the chemical changes which take place after it sets. Normal to keep it wet after it has set, or spray with a curing agent to seal the moisture in.
