Who was it whose coffee machine had gone up the spout?
Oops!
Just read about someone with a Miele machine that kept saying "Expel Air" so in the end they contacted Miele themselves who then sent them some special cleaning stuff which took two hours to use, and then still said "expel air" but they did what the manual said and now it is running fine.
Apparently they had to get rid of fat!!
Who knew?
Maybe of some use!

We have to do a cleaning cycle every couple of months, First time I was surprised at the "fat" on top of the water during the cycle.

Its only to do with machines that grind the beans I think

Well I wouldn't since we don't have a machine with that built in!
On them, can you vary the time and the intensity of the grind? cos I would deffo want to do that.

You can vary the amount of coffee used so the strength of coffee, and the amount of water added, which is the same thing really.
No time adjustment, it squirts it through at the same rate.
It of course depends on the type of beans you use so there are so many variables possible.

There is a school of thought, and academics, with nothing flipping better to do, have tested it, that if you use fewer beans and grind them for less time you get a better taste.
We have tried it and it tends to be true.
Our grinder over here takes into account the number of cups you are making and how coarse a grind you want, so you switch it on and watch the "traffic lights" to get the grind you want.
All good fun!
But as you say, you need to start with decent coffee.
Can't get it in the UK, just as you can't get decent tea over here, so we import both in both directions.

Well apparently they are a cross breed of which there are 1000s of varieties.
Mixtures of loads of crossbreedings of Cornish, Rhode Isalnd Red, Leghorn, New Hampshire and Plymouth.
We have had them now for years and see no reason to change them.

We don't at the moment just been looking at housing and found a UK company that makes poly tunnels but put a stretching fine green mesh cover on all ready got all the electrical fencing as have been viewing are trail cameras and we have a lot off critters about at night including Martin's and thay are incredibly good hunters.looking at duel purpose heavy bread.marons or road.I red's or a mixture and.k.k ducks
