I don't have butter/spread of any type on my bread/toast. I do however like just the tiniest hint of Marmite or jam

It may have something to do with the fact he brought a new wardrobe last time but now has loads of stuff with years of wear left if he can get in them.

I have spent a pleasant morning programming my radios as I now have a new call sign. I can operate at 50w on most bands with a few exceptions

A new call sign but surely now you start again with the contacts who knew you before?
Or does the new 1 start with sir(whatever your last 1 was)

starting with a new name do you lose all your licks aswell.

This is my problem too!
I have so many pairs of troos in 32, and I am in 36s at the mo!!
You've got the excuse of being forced to be a bit immobile for a longish while now.

Being a Brit has its benefits, I can retain the old call sign and all its contacts etc. I can then collect the same ones under a new name
I am keeping the old call sign as I am close to the DX award and that has been hard fought!

I have a small world of texters who ensure each other is well. We are old school friends who can say what they mean & never get worried with what is said.
From these chats if someone thinks it’s important to tell your partner they will.

Also with driving this is the same… a group of drivers always chat to make sure all is ok as you do not see/speak to persons for hours/days. They know how lonely it can be and the impact it has on lives(not just yours but others around you)

yes my camper, nearly done, two steps up then on to ladder, going to fit handle, might use the one from bottom corner of landy
