Afternoon folks

Well got me oles filled and setup for the next set. trying not to think about how many I have to dig.

For the nosey who want to know @Stone56 & @Stanleysteamer and all others that didn't even know they need to know

.

They are mini piles cos the ground has been built up and I still don't think has stopped moving, So a couple of feet deep to get into old dirt then filled with concrete to ground level then a 10" piece of 4" soil pipe stuffed in and filled with concrete it so it sticks out about 4" above the ground then a wall fixing stud pushed in. Then I can lay 2x4s across and fix down so they don't touch the ground to then screw decking on it

Yep I was laying decking last year but started to late in the year as it just got to hot to be working on it. So trying to get a head start on it this year to finish in the mild weather

.

Just come in, been told its colly chesse wif chips and beans for the workers today

so going veggey tonight

, some eat cheese dont they

I get that completely, and I think it is more important for single young men than married older men.

Also you have more to worry about than that, sadly.

Well acksherlly I did need to know this...... a few years back when I thought I needed to extend our back patio out from the house with decking over some land that had only been put there fairly recent so couldn't be counted on as being stable.
None of the stuff about how to do this that I found on line said this, And I wasn't going to get proper "slam it in till refusal " piling. So I never did it.
So yes, two nosey peeps with a place in that there Yurope who do this sort of fing!!!
Maybe we should start up our own Faceache group.!!!!!

I always have the excuse that I have to let the dogs out.

I suspect it was because I pressed H/W BOOST before I went to bed and it didn't like the 1 Hour of heating the water only.
It is the first failure is some little while, and I did mess with it. So I will see what happens.

need sum new headlight bulbs, anyone bought off aliexpress? much cheaper buying from our frens in chinaland, but is it too good to be true? I'm after D3S xenons as they take a while to warm up and probably arent as bright as they used to be. currently osram branded ones in

I and another member on this wesite swear by them. They do take a long while to arrive cos ............. they still come from China.
But at least you asre cutting out the middle men!

cheers, do you need to go by price or get taken in by the marketing? These arent the very cheapest but lots cheaper than halfrauds et al

We got caught out the day before an MOT so had to go to LR for 1

, lucky the parts guy looked around and said here this Volvo 1 is exactly the same but 30% cheaper

. Still wasn't cheap, but if you get them ready you cant be fleeced if you are in need

.
Even if they aren't as good as they say at least you have a spare to get you home.

I drove myself to work for the first time since May last year!! The Mitzy is nice to drive, the auto is quiet and the whole thing doesn't leak!

The problem is, unless you have bought the actual item you cannot advise. All I know is they are generally very good. If in doubt I would go for one that is better price than the uk but not the cheapest they do.
