LOL, We are too far from the bypass, to be sure to recognise your horn! even if we could see it! I'm assuming you didn't acksherlly go THRU Fendown, roadworks round here stink at the mo, and Ferndown to Ringwood and back has been an absolute nightmare too.
At least you can now get back onto the flyover at Ringwood coming from there to ere. Han't been able to for a long time!
Poor you in outer London.

When we go backup next week we'll be using the A3. Ere to Wondswuff.

down the ring wood road over the stour by the bridge pub. Loverly drive no road works today.

yesterday went down 1 road & just as I turned onto diversion route found a tanker could not get traction & slid into a ditch…poor road worker had to stop traffic so could do a 3point turn & go out into the countryside to find my own way… puddle town is very nice

My son in law has passed his hazard awareness etc and got his CPC. He has been taken on by one of the logistic companies as a shunter and hopes to take his test in three months so he can get on the road and join your brethren!

Did I tell you about the truckie who was going past our place in France and, scared of clipping the lower branches of some trees, went slightly off the road?
He thought his truck was going to go over, so he jumped out, let fly a a ratchet strap, or two and dumped a whole load of cylindrical hay bales through our fence and onto our land. Missed the polytunnel by inches.
We were in the UK at the time.

We had a nice time in Lincoln today but I am tired now and everything hurts!

...lost the will to live today.
Spoke to my brother and got the skinny on his marital breakdown. Sounds all very silly but there's something in the background I can't put my finger on.
He's resigned to riding out the storm for 2-3 years and then just leaving once he has earned back the £70k he has put into her house.
I was going to do some trike stuff in the workshop but got out there and felt "Nope" CBA" and came back in.

Sorry to hear that Dan, all you can do is support your brother. I also get the CBA vibes and there is nothing you can do. Tomorrow is another day

I've just come in to discover the cat has been sick in the hall. Just saliva and grass by the look of it. However, on bending down to wipe it up I noticed that the green bits were distinctly plump and succulent looking. I think they are the leaves of bluebells that are starting to sprout in the back yard. Xylia has been worried about him lately as he has appeared to be very sleepy and listless. If he's eating bluebells he won't be very well, as they're full of glycosides. You wouldn't think he had little dishes full of his favourite cat food in the kitchen, looking at what he eats outdoors. Rats that have been run over on the road, dead birds and now bluebells.

Did they let you keep the straw bales? There's all sorts of opportunities there for composting, mulching, permaculture cultivation as well as litter for the hens to scratch about in.

Mine aren't anywhere near a cloud.
Some are organised into folders some aren't.
And some of the big folders are on different parts of the hard drive. With other folders in them.
One fine day whan it rains I'll sit down and sort them out.
Sort of thing I could have done during lockdown, like I could have finished the utility room and loads of other things.
But lethargy rode again! and also W got mental and needed a lot of cheering up.

Wondering if it isn't "someone in the background".
If it is her house, i.e. in her name, then that may not make things easy, but if it is also his place of (self) employment then a judge may take that into account. Also if he can prove he has improved her house to the tune of £70k. A short appt with a solicitor may be a wise move, just to see where his land lies.
Not funny though, and he may find he cannot take the 2-3 years.
Hope the CBA is temporary.

We were not in France and a long way short of going back there. The farmer's daughter and her boyfriend, bless them, dragged them all out and then made good the fence, including obtaining concrete and mixing it to keep the posts up.
The Guy who owned the transport company turned out to a complete what you sit upon. So our insurance company took his to the cleaners. A big claim went in, a local handyman put it back the way it was, i.e. it was nearly brand new so it became very good and we pocketed the difference between actual cost of replacement and what our insurance company thought it needed. Result really!
We only ever have 3 or 4 hens at a time so it'd have rotted well before they could have used it, if ever!!!
No they belonged to the farmer so he got them and quite right too. I think they put a claim in as well. All cos a driver didn't know the height of his load.

... I noticed that it was still not dark at 17:30 today so this must be true...
