I will be honest, when we went to get a car we went to the nearest dealer and she said I like the blue one so we bought it. I hadn't even heard of the model :oops: but it turns out three of our neighbours have one!!
They are popular, with people my age it's for ferrying kids about. Thankfully I don't have that issue. I got asked when viewing why are you buying a big car when you don't have kids and I said it's my money and I'm buying what I want not need to have.

When I bought my D4 I told the salesman that I only wanted to look at cars that had an enormous boot - he thought I was a nutter until he saw my future passengers!
 
Got a good half inch of snow here, don't know if I should risk going out on the roads without chains and survival gear :rolleyes:
+2 and sunshine so that's a bonus
Days like this I wish I had my old Moskvitch back, it had a venetian type blind on the rad which only opened when engine was hot, warmed up quick and it was great in the snow with plenty of ground clearance

I used as bit of hardboard on a strin that I slipped in front of the rad and looped the string around the rad cap. About half the rad deep.
