Sorry for not replying earlier Mr Hippo but I've recently changed jobs.Eye think the modern day trucker is much softer and more worried about breaking a nail compared to truckers from years ago. Also counting the overtime hours while stuck with the fool burning eater running.

This was the view from the lorry window last week as I now drive a milk tanker and most definitely carry a shovel and a couple of bags of grit
Also I'm mastering driving along farm tracks in snow drifts without hopefully getting a tow from the farmer
