Only liking it cos it's interesting obvs not cos you got hurt.
Working with tools of all sorts can be dangerous. I have hurt myself with all sorts of things, some permanently, like the plunge saw that took the tip of my finger off.
Others like the ratchet that broke and ended up leading to a broken thumb. And I don't/didn't even work with them every day.
At least I didn't drop a car on my head through trusting a jack, or anything like that!!
but that sure sounds painful and bloody!
Glad you survived!:):):)

Spent the afternoon with W sorting out umpteen Christmas lights.
How many button and LR2302 batts does it take to light a house?
And don't have a go at me cos it may be 2032, or even 2023, I reely don't give a feck!!!
So the cards are nearly all written and posted, all the ones for France are gone.
Both real lickle Christmas trees are in and decorated.
Wifey gave me the fairy for a tree to look at, a proper porcelain doll made by a friend of ours. (We've had her years but i never paid attention to her).
Seriously she is very naughty, has all her bits, long brown hair, a gorgeous face, a lovely figure and just a bit of tulle round her middle. She is so gorgeous I'd put her on Top Totty except she isn't a yuman!!:):):)
She is only about 3" tall which is why I never looked at her before.
Lesley, you naughty woman, fancy making such a lovely thing for us!!:D:D:D
Getting right into the spirit of Christmas.:D:D
Was whisky before dins, dunno what it'll be next!!!;):D

Weirdly it neither stung nor let much blood out after the initial spray.
W was away in Street shoppin with dottir so she couldn't take me into A&E. Rang 999, "can't get to you for 3 hours", OK so rang a neeb and she took me in with a bog roll wrapped round it. Lost 8mm. So just touched the top of the bone. It healed up so no ops nor nuffin, just shorter and don't feel right, also painful if I touch the tip with fings. Too close to the bone.
Bloody annoying. I had placed the plunge saw to make a cut, realised that what I wanted to use as a guide wasn't going to work so lifted it off, let go the trigger, and as it was slowing down just touched the blade with the finger as I had sort of not noticed that that bit of the base plate is a lot narrower than on a normal circular saw. So I shouldn't have been holding it as I was!! Expected it to hurt but it seriously didn't. Weird!:(:(:(

Also what was fun was that when W was busy putting decorations together I was playing Christmas carols on the harmonica. I continuously asked her for requests. She ran out of ideas after about 4. And I found my self playing "Oh little town of Bethelem" halfway through what started out as "Hark the Herald Angels Sing".:eek:
Anyway, ended with "Last Christmas..." then got the tea and mincy pies out!!
Deffo feeling Christmassy!!!:):):):)

Oops, now in deep deep do dos!!
went to get us both a brandy.
Somehow the decanter slipped a bit in my hand and ended up spilling a bit of the precious liquor on the table. Not the end of the world but somehow managed to chip the stopper and as this one is one of a pair from the tantalus, I am not flavour of the month. (As if I ever am!) Managed to cut myself too but that went unnoticed!
How the heck can one ever get a replacement decanter, or a stopper, for a 1930s tantalus? That matches tother and is the correct size?
Feck!:(:(:(
(Seem to be getting clumsier with age!:(:(:()
