Rain, snow, rain, snow rain, just can't make up its mind.
Wasn't like that in my day. Winter of 63 had to dig my way 5 miles to school in 8ft snow drifts, got caned mercilessly for being 2 minutes late. Kids these days don't know they are born - have to be taken to school in a range rover.Reports in Lunnen of Welsh schools being shut for the snow ....
.. or a tractor! Having closed most of the small village schools, the children have to be bused in over many miles to the remaining ones. Often it is the Transport Companies that won't go on the roads! Even very young children have to on the bus by 7.30am in order to get to school by 9am as the buses go around all the outlying villages to pick up the wee ones.Wasn't like that in my day.
